Wing Clipper Class...
The other night we had a fabulous class using a new tool we've found to create flying geese! The tool is easy to use and using this method makes flying geese quick and easy. Here are some reflections of the class.

Stash Dash Party!!
Last week I shared with you another blogger and a wonderful quilted tea set because I was under the weather and thought I had the flu. Well, this week hasn't gone much better! Now I have pneumonia!! So I thought I'd share with you some more inspiration! One of the best thing about my job is seeing all of the talented ladies and wonderful projects they bring in. Our group of Stash Dashers are no exception! They are not only talented, but they so inspire me that I had to share with all of you!
Not only did the ladies come in and sew with us for the day and finish projects from their stash, they passed on some wonderful projects. Many of them were donated to groups that pass it on to charity. At this quarters event the ladies donated projects to Hugs, Wounded Warriors, and Quilts of Valor just to name a few! So not only did these ladies use up some stash, they passed it on to wonderful causes! What a great and generous use of stash!! Here are some photos of our day!
If you missed this quarter's event, watch Facebook, email, etc. for our next one! If you're not a Stash Dasher and would like to be, you can join at any time.
Happy stitching and may your bobbin always be full!

Inspiration!
Sometimes with blogging it's hard to always have the next great project or idea to share with followers, well this week is no exception. I think I have the flu and I just knew that my project was not going to be done for today. However, I think I've found something better! Here at the Parish we love our tea and tea parties. In fact, the third Sunday of each month we host a wonderful tea party for our Hand Embroidery Club. We are working on a block of the month, however if you have a current hand project you're working on feel free to join us any time!! It's a lot of fun!
So here's what I want to share with you! I came across this the other day and was so inspired that I had to share! If you have any little people in your life, this would make the most adorable gift! I'll have to let you know if I get one made. Here you go...

Meet Stasher Linda Baldwin...
2013 is the year for finishing projects, at least here at the Parish! To that end we began our "Stash Dash" challenge on February 1st. We have a large group of ladies that have taken on the challenge and Linda is one of them. Our goal is to use at least 100 yards out of our stash this year and complete projects. Here's a little about Linda...
Linda has been quilting for many years and currently has two cabinets of material/kits and partially completed projects. She attempted to count them all and it's approximately 15 projects plus material that isn't part of any specific project. Linda has already finish three projects so far! Many of these projects she has had planned for 5 years or more. She says she loves all the projects she has awaiting her attention and hopes to complete most of them this year. The projects range from small lap quilts to wall hangings to full size quilts. Linda is currently working on improving her free motion quilting skills. By completing all these projects this year she will get lots of practice! Linda is actively working on 4 projects at the moment. Three are still being pieced and one is being quilted.
Great work Linda! She is well on her way to 100 yards! How about you? Are you getting those projects done? There is still time to join our "Stash Dash" challenge. Call the shop and we can take care of you! Let's inspire each other and get those UFO's DONE!!
If you are in the same boat as Linda and would like to improve your Free Motion skills, join award winning quilter Norma Jean Nyman on Saturday, May 18th for Beginning Free Motion. Click here to register.
Or maybe you need help with binding those projects? Join us for Beautiful Bindings on April 17th. We have a morning and an evening session to suit your busy schedule. Click here to register!
