Hello! It has been quite some time since this blog has been posted on and I apologize for that. Sometimes our lives get so crazy that it feels like we barely have time to breathe. But I think we need to take time to breathe, smell the roses, and quilt!
As someone who does not have a lot of experience under her belt when it comes to quilting, I would like to pose a few questions:
- What would you, as a more experienced quilter, say your number one piece of advice is for a beginner?
- What pattern would you most recommend for their first quilt?
- What mistakes have you learned from throughout your quilting experience that could help a beginning quilter?
With quilting reaching out to a wider and wider age group, there are more and younger beginners everywhere. So for all of you wonderful and experienced quilters out there, share your wisdom with us through a comment!
I hope that as summertime approaches, we can embrace the laid-back atmosphere, take the time to enjoy ourselves, and definitely take the time to quilt.
May your bobbin always be full!
